Keneteph Entertainment Presents: Thaahum Three Feet From Gold (2003)

About the CD

Three Feet from Gold is the first unofficial
release from Keneteph Entertainment.  I say
unofficial because the CD flows more like a
mixtape, with exclusive freestyles of mine, as
well as original songs on it.  The CD is a couple
of years in the making, as I recorded the first
song “A Song for da Underdoggs” in the fall of
2002.  A lot has happened between now and
then.  My CD is very personal and reflects
these changes.  Despite the ever changing
drama I attracted in my life, the only thing that
remained the same is the love I have for my
daughters Nekaybaw Marie, and Tephareth
Lenora.
I’d like to thank all of the people who helped
me with this CD:   Alex at Sound and Logic
studios where I recorded most of my tracks, Stix
and TG1 for blessin’ me with their production,
Jazzy and Entyce for their vocals, the folks at
flexbeats.com for letting me record some
freestyles, Jizz, Boss G, and Showgun at UTI
radio, and HB and Mo for paying for my inserts
and getting those packages out.  The Universe
has truly blessed me.  I hope you enjoy the 8
free songs and chose to purchase the full
length CD.

If you like what you hear and would like to purchase the
full length CD, send a $12.00 money order to:

Thaahum’s unique style makes him a much
needed artist in the music industry.  He
describes his style as
supraliminal hip hop-
“supraliminal” meaning
beyond the realm of
consciousness, to induce a sensation
.  That
is exactly what he does in his music. His
ability to smoothly put positive words to
commercially appealing beats make him a
bridge between underground and
mainstream hip hop.
Although he has only been performing
since 1999, the 24 year old father of two
has advanced far as an independent artist.
He has already received radio play all
around the world, and his writing ability
made him one of the recipients of the 2003
ASCAP Plus award.  In 2003 his talents
where displayed at the I Just Want to Have
My Music Heard showcase, sponsored by
music1.com in Miami, Florida, and a
workshop sponsored by band breakthrough.
net, in Hollywood, CA.  In 2003 he also
participated in a talent showcase sponsored
by superwebstars.com in which he won third
place.  His song
Last Stance was one of the
top five songs on the Clear Channel New
Music Network in March 2003.
The independent artist has opened for
groups such as Ghostface Killa, D12,
Cypress Hill, and Digital Underground.
Thaahum was also featured on UK
recording artist “Late”
International Spittin’
LP on Wolftown Recordings.  Besides
emceeing, he does freelance journalism as
well.  His article "The Trials and Tribulations
of a Father MC" was featured on volume 14
of the Wondertwinz Connex List.  He also
has a regular column on the online
publication
midatlantichiphop.com called
Keneteph’s Korner.
